In Colombia: We Did A Lot Of ...

pointing at things in the distance:

staying at charming houses:

gazing at mind-blowing ceilings:

exploring misty jungles:

pensive wandering on the high plains (Steven in blue):

(Nick in yellow):

admiring of hydrangeas (who knew? They always strike me as so completely New England, and there they were everywhere in Colombia):

moving of eucalyptus logs (well, only once):

and then more pointing.

More to follow.

I've always wanted to go to Colombia. Especially after reading Garcia Marquez. Beautiful pictures!

I've also nominated you for an award!

I have also done lots of pointing while here in China and France! And I want to hear more about Colombia! When will we three meet again- in thunder, lightning, or in rain? Any chance you'll come to Chicago in the Fall? Maybe we can Skype if I can ever figure out how to do that. -Ash

I loved this whole post, but my favorite photograph is the last. Those medallions are beautiful.

Thanks for commenting on Nick Haus! I look forward to seeing what you have to say. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking Anonymous comments -- too much spam, too much vituperative. Come out from behind the curtain, ye nasty Anonymous! Everyone else, please, I love to hear from you.
